The Best Family Lawyers in Toronto
I started Hartman Law in 2017 because I wanted to create a law firm that is committed to improving the lives of Canadians through the use and development of the law. Hartman Law accomplishes this goal through excellence in our various practice areas and focus on accountability, efficiency, and strategy.
Having a keen interest in law and governance, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Master of Arts in Legal Studies from Carleton University in Ottawa. My undergraduate and graduate studies focused extensively on constitutional issues and I produced theses on the equality provision and notwithstanding clause of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. I commenced law school at University of Victoria and worked at a boutique litigation firm throughout, graduating with a Juris Doctor in 2012. Upon being called to the British Columbia bar I litigated in Victoria and Vancouver for several years before relocating to Toronto, Ontario in early 2015.
Outside of work I enjoy reading about Canada and the world, boxing, and travelling.
